Apps Terms of Use

Welcome to the Satami Japan Tour App (“App”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our mobile application and any services provided by Satami Japan Tour (“Satami,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or otherwise using the App, you accept and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must immediately discontinue the use of the App.

2. Account Registration and Security

  • 2.1. To use certain features of the App, you must create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
  • 2.2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login details and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • 2.3. You agree to immediately notify Satami of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. Satami will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these security obligations.

3. App Features

  • 3.1. Customer Login: You may log in to the App using your registered credentials to access personalized services.
  • 3.2. View Itinerary: The App allows you to view your itinerary during your Japan trip with Satami. Your itinerary will include details such as destinations, activities, and timings.
  • 3.3. Schedule View: You can view your schedule in a table format. This will include detailed information such as the names of your Tour Guide and Driver, along with the timing of each activity.
  • 3.4. Invoice Access: The App allows you to view your invoice online for the services provided by Satami. Invoices can be reviewed, downloaded, or shared directly from the App.
  • 3.5. Access News: You may access news and updates related to your trip or general travel information from Satami’s website directly through the App.

4. User Conduct

  • 4.1. You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.
  • 4.2. You shall not use the App to:
    • Post or transmit any material that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
    • Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
    • Disrupt or interfere with the security or functionality of the App or servers or networks connected to the App.
    • Collect or store personal data about other users without their consent.

5. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by this reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices concerning your personal information.

6. Intellectual Property

  • 6.1. All content, features, and functionality of the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, and software, are the exclusive property of Satami and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
  • 6.2. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our App or included software, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of that software, unless laws prohibit those restrictions or you have our written permission.

7. Termination

  • 7.1. Satami reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account or your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, effective immediately.
  • 7.2. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

8. Disclaimers

  • 8.1. The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Satami makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the operation or availability of the App, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
  • 8.2. Satami does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the App is free of viruses or other harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Satami and its affiliates, directors, employees, or agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the App;
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the App;
  • Any content obtained from the App; and
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan Jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within Japan Jurisdiction to resolve any dispute or claim arising from these Terms.

11. Changes to Terms

Satami reserves the right to update or change these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
