Calling all Pokémon Trainers! If you’ve ever dreamed of stepping into the world of Pokémon, PokéPark KANTO is the destination you’ve been waiting for. Located inside Yomiuriland Amusement Park in Tokyo, this is the world’s first permanent outdoor Pokémon attraction, where visitors can explore forests, themed towns, and interact with more than 600 Pokémon from across the franchise.

Begin Your Adventure at the Entrance Plaza
Every adventure starts at the PokéPark Entrance Plaza, where Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle welcome visitors before they begin exploring. This area is also home to the Pokémon Research Lab, which serves as the main entrance to the park, as well as the Pokémon Daisuki Shop, offering exclusive merchandise available only at PokéPark KANTO. Do note that access to the shop requires a separate limited-entry ticket obtained in advance.

Explore the Pokémon Forest
One of the park’s biggest highlights is the Pokémon Forest, a vast outdoor area stretching over 500 meters through natural landscapes. Visitors can walk along forest trails, tall grass, rocky paths, tunnels, and hills while discovering Pokémon living naturally throughout the environment. You’ll encounter Pokémon from the Kanto region and many other generations as they run, play, battle, and interact with one another, creating the feeling of exploring a real Pokémon habitat.
Entry to Pokémon Forest requires either a Trainer’s Pass or an Ace Trainer’s Pass, and certain physical restrictions apply due to the walking trails and natural terrain.
Discover the Excitement of Sedge Town
After exploring the forest, continue your adventure in Sedge Town, a lively area designed for Pokémon Trainers. Here you’ll find familiar locations including the Pokémon Center, where Chansey welcomes guests, and the Poké Mart, offering themed drinks and refreshments to recharge before continuing your journey.
Sedge Town is also home to the Pokémon Trainers’ Market, filled with exclusive merchandise, interactive experiences, and beautiful photo spots surrounding the iconic Primarina Fountain.
Ride Exclusive Pokémon Attractions
PokéPark KANTO features two family-friendly attractions available with separate ride tickets. Pika Pika Paradise is an exciting ride powered by more than 30 Electric-type Pokémon, creating a colorful and energetic experience for visitors of all ages.
Meanwhile, Vee Vee Voyage offers a magical carousel adventure where guests can ride in carriages pulled by Ponyta and Rapidash or float through the skies alongside Eevee in beautifully themed hot-air balloons.

Watch Live Shows at Sedge Gym
Don’t miss the live entertainment at Sedge Gym, where daily stage performances bring Pokémon and Trainers together in interactive shows. Throughout the day, visitors can also enjoy special Pokémon parades and exclusive meet-and-greet sessions with their favorite Pokémon.
Some performances and character greetings require advance reservations or special event passes, so it’s recommended to plan your visit before arriving.
Plan Ahead Before You Visit
Because of its popularity, several experiences inside PokéPark KANTO—including the Pokémon Daisuki Shop, live shows, and meet-and-greets—require advance reservations or limited-entry tickets. Booking your passes early will help you enjoy every part of the park without missing its most popular attractions.
Whether you’re a lifelong Pokémon fan or visiting with family, PokéPark KANTO offers an unforgettable adventure that truly brings the Pokémon world to life. From exploring forests filled with Pokémon to riding themed attractions and meeting your favorite characters, it’s one of Japan’s most exciting new destinations for Trainers of all ages.
