Tempura

Tempura is a yummy Japanese dish made by frying pieces of food in a light and crispy batter. It’s usually seafood or vegetables like shrimp, fish, sweet potato, and mushrooms. The batter is made with flour, water, and sometimes eggs or spices. Chefs dip the ingredients in the batter and then deep-fry them until they’re golden and crunchy. Tempura is often served with a dipping sauce called tentsuyu, made from soy sauce, mirin, and dashi (a kind of broth). It’s a popular and delicious treat in Japan and around the world, loved for its crispy texture and delicate flavors.
